  • Really? Just stop. Talk about something else.

So I go on Xanga and I also go on Facebook. I have noticed that a lot of people like talking about how much they hate Twilight & Harry Potter, and how they know fans will kill them for saying so and yadda yadda yadda. They get a featured post, or on Facebook, they get a lot of people typing "hear, hear!" Not literally, no one says/types hear, hear anymore, which is sad, but that's for another post coming to you soon. You, meaning the only reader, meaning me. Ha.
Anyway, back to my original topic, people hating on Twilight & Harry Potter. Another side note: these "critics" always mention they haven't read the books, but they read one or they watched the movie. Reading one of the books in a series or watching a movie, which isn't the book, does not give you an accurate feeling of the series. So stop. You have no idea what you're typing about. Of course, all of the other haters who also never read the books will agree with you, causing you to BELIEVE you know what you are typing about, but take it from me, who has read both series extensively: I know what I am talking about.  You don't. Thankssss.
Sorry for all the side notes. ANYWAY #2, hating on something just because everyone likes it is a really, really stupid reason to hate something. Just saying. But keep on hating something you don't even really know anything about. You just look like a bored fool.
ANYWAY #3, Stop hating on Harry Potter & Twilight. Hating on Harry Potter & Twilight is becoming as commonplace as liking them. So no, you're not a rebel for hating them. You're as much a rebel as people who shop at Hot Topic and think they're really being out there. No. You're not being "out there" and you're not bringing anything new to the table. You're buying mass-produced clothes, same as the people you make fun of for shopping at Abercrombie & Fitch. So just stop. Talk about something else. Give Xanga something different to feature, like how much you hate racists/like racism. Let people agree with how hot Michael Phelps is looking these days, which is a fact, unlike your error-filled take on books you haven't even read. Kay. Thanx. Bye.

  • I am re-reading Pride & Prejudice by Jane Austen. I like it a lot. Not for its literary merit, which does not matter to me whatsoever, I just enjoy the story. Plus Elizabeth's mom Mrs. Bennett is quite the character.

A book that I did not like, which everyone loves for some inexplicable reason, is the Catcher in The Rye by J.D. Salinger. This book is like braces, acne, driver's ed. It seems to me like enjoying this not-great book is a rite of passage for adolescents. I disagree. I could read my own journal if I wanted angst and rambling. I have pimples, but I never had braces and I never went through driver's ed. And i am still alive. So there, you catcher in the rye-loving punks.

  • During the school year, Friday is my favorite day(big surprise, right? ha ha). Friday is my favorite day during the school year because when I get home, I always eat a snack and watch a DVD. I don't do that on the other days. I also never do any of my homework on Friday. Friday is complete relaxation, except for school. But during the summer, every day is a Friday. It is supremely easy to take for granted all the free time. That is why I get so bored during the summer. Also, I am just a weird adolescent who actually likes school. Except for physics. I really did not like physics. The teacher was nice, but science was never my forte.
You know what's another thing that isn't my forte? Boys. I told my mom today that I understand boys as much as I understand quantum physics. NIL! My mom thought it was funny. On a serious note, I really do not understand boys. Boys think girls are confusing?! That is so strange. Girls are so easy to understand. Girls just want to be loved, they want to be listened to. They want you to kiss them, to throw rocks at their window. Girls want you to hold their hand. See? Muy facilmente.

Random fact about me of the day: My favorite color is everything except black and white.

  • Some things I do, without fail, every time I go on the computer:
    • Play solitaire until I win, or until I give up.
    • Play my music.
    • Check my Yahoo!, Gmail and MSN e-mail accounts.
    • Check to see if there are any new trailers on Apple Trailers.
    • Log onto Stephenie Meyer's website, glance at the countdown, and look at the quote of the day. I have already pre-ordered Breaking Dawn. I would like to add that besides Harry Potter, I never buy books. And i used gift cards I got from volunteering to purchase the Twilight saga. So there.
    • Every Sunday, I go on PostSecret. So interesting/scary/fun/sad.
    • Go on facebook. Deflect friend requests from people who have never spoken to me in real life.
    • Go on xanga.
    • I used to sign on to AIM, but I stopped in 10th grade. Online chatting with people who never gave me the time of day in real life didn't seem so fun anymore.
Things I sometimes do whilst on computer:
    • Check what's on TV tonight via titantv.com Very nice website.
    • Go on Harry Potter fan sites. See if any more pictures of upcoming movie comes out.
    • Freerice.com. It updates my vocabulary and helps me to save the world! WOOHOO!!
    • Go on ferryhalim.com/orisinal. Cute, fun, internet games with nice music and adorable characters.
On a side note, I recently watched Jumper and P.S. I Love You. Nice, nice, nice!
